Brockmans Gin & Tonic
Oh, Brockmans, how I love thee ❤️. I was never a G&T fan until I discovered Brockmans across the pond visiting some friends. Gins across the UK are like our craft beers here in the US and it has taken off and each gin has a completely different profile which is unlike anything we experience stateside. However, I’ve noticed more unique gins appearing in the NH State Liquor Store lately 🙏.
Brockmans Gin has hints of grapefruit and blackberry (it smells so amazing👃). We typically add an orange peel and blackberries to the cocktail because it adds an extra hint of Brockmans’ botanics and we’ve learned that garnishes are key to great cocktail (i.e. rose petals and English cucumbers for Hendricks Gin, berries with Eden Mill Love).
I think the other secret to a great G&T is the tonic. Fever Tree Mediterranean Tonic Water, has been our go-to and it has great floral notes which are perfect for the grapefruit and blackberry notes in Brockmans. Fever Tree has some other incredible tonics (i.e Rose Hips, Elderflower) and I would definitely recommend you try their tonics because they’re pretty delicious.
