Super Bowl Munchies
This is Jackie’s Eats & Treats after all and you know I love my munchies, aka ‘treats,’ which are perfect for the Super Bowl. This post features some of my favorites munchies just in time to inspire your ๐ festivities.

I love a good game, but sometimes the ‘treats’ take center stage for me. Am I alone here? What do you prefer the game, the food ๐, or maybe even those great commercials?
I’ll start this post with a throwback to last year, where I featured Reuben Wonton Bites and Korean Short Rib Tacos with Kimchi Apple Slaw. Yes, I know that is a strange combo, but both were DELICIOUS ๐!
Reuben Wonton Bites can be made ahead and warmed when you’re ready. These are a perfect bite of food, with the salty corned beef, bright kraut and creamy swiss! For the Korean Short Rib Tacos, again, you could prepare the short ribs ahead of time in your instant pot and crisp before you’re ready to serve. The Apple Kimchi Slaw can also be made ahead of time and this bright and crisp slaw is heavenly!
Chex Mix is always a crowd pleaser and it keeps folks happy before the real food comes out ๐. If you’re looking to spice up your chex mix, check out my Spicy Chex Mix recipe. This mix is delicious and delivers a subtle punch of heat. Two, scratch made chex mix can be made days or a week or two in advance!

Pimento Cheese Spread – This is my ABSOLUTE favorite โค๏ธ and I pull this out EVERY CHANCE I GET! It should be made the day before to enhance those bright flavors of lemon and garlic, which makes for a perfect premade snack. Serve with bread, pretzels and veggies, to provide options and don’t forget Pimento Cheese is great with a beer, cheers ๐ป.

I don’t know about you, but I LOVE picking and nibbling ๐ during a game and these two recipes are great finger foods for nibbling!
- Muffuletta Pinwheels – Cured meats, olive salad and cheese make this a winner every time.
- Ham & Cheese Biscuits. – Biscuits are an easy plan ahead bit. Serve with scratch mustard, if you want to impress.
Dips are also great when you’re looking to provide options during the game and satisfy those taste buds. Also they’re able to be made ahead of time and baked when you’re ready.
Buffalo Chicken Dip – THIS IS ALWAYS A CROWD PLEASER. Again, if you serve with chips and veggies, you have options and of course buffalo chicken is perfect with beer ๐บ!
Pimento Cheese Meets Spinach & Artichoke – This is becoming a favorite on my site for the brightness it delivers!

Queso Fundido – If you want to impress, make this dip. I recently made this for a birthday party ๐ and I modified my original recipe to only a few key ingredients and it was DELICIOUS ๐! I simply cooked my Homemade Chorizo, added one onion, two roasted poblano peppers (don’t forget to peel the roasted skin off) and I finished with grated Monterey Jack and Mexican Mexican Oaxaca cheese, so yummy and ooey gooey!
I think I’ll close with my favorite football food, Buffalo Chicken Wings and Mac & Cheese, I mean can you get much better! This makes a debut at least once during the football season.
Here’s also my Creamy Mac & Cheese!
I haven’t yet found my inspiration for this year, but writing this post helped ๐! I do hope it provided you with some inspiration and feel free to search my site, Jackie’s Eats & Treats, for additional options and cheers ๐ป!
Enjoy the Super Bowl ๐!
